We price each kitten at around 4-6 weeks of age based on individual traits, pedigree, and temperament. We try to match personalities with owners by identifying the most social and outgoing vs lap cat or other tendencies the kittens exhibit. Prices range from $800-$4,000* for Pet/Show Quality kittens. We do sell with breeding rights to other registered breeders on approval of their program. Please inquire for specific pricing.

Reservation / Wait list deposits vary by breed from $350-$2000 (please inquire for specifics). By placing a deposit on an upcoming litter the buyer secure a place on our wait list to pick from the kittens once they are priced. The reservation deposit is non-refundable and is applied towards the final purchase price. It can also be transferred to another litter if the buyer chooses to do so. Our goal is to find the purrrfect home for our kittens so we work closely with each buyer to determine the best cat for them.
Once pricing has been established, those on the waiting list will be notified and asked to make their choice and given a timeframe in which to do so. If no choice has been made by the timeframe given, the buyer will lose their pick, however the deposit may be transferred towards another kitten at the discretion of Emerald Exotics.

Kittens will receive two vaccinations at 9 and 12 weeks, will have at least two health checks and deworming according to AVMA guidelines and each parent is DNA tested for genetic illnesses other potential health complications. We guarantee a healthy kitten and will work with each owner to improve their kittens health through education and advice on feeding and supplements. We will replace any cat or kitten we sell with an equal or higher value cat if it is found to be sick or unhealthy by your veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt of the animal. We offer support for life and have many happy customers coming back for their second or third kitten from us!

Whenever possible we prefer to personally meet new owners and hand deliver our kittens. We understand that's not always an option for our out-of-state customers and in those cases we are able to ship your kitten via courier or other method. Shipping costs around $300 for us to arrange and includes an airline health certificate from our vet, the purchase of an approved carrier, food and water cups, and the cost of the flight. Courier prices are case by case, please ask us for a quote. We arrange departures from SEA/TAC (Seattle/Tacoma) international airport.
Local families and those who wish to drive to pick up their kitten will be informed on the dates that your kitten is available to be picked up.

With only a handful of Pixiebob, Chausie and Caracat breeders in the U.S., these breeds are often in demand among those who aspire to be owned by or have been owned by these wonderful cats! Getting on our waiting list gives you the pick of the litter and choice of Sire/Dam pairings. You are part of your kittens journey from birth! We send updates on each litter to our wait list families so they can watch as each kitten develops physically, socially and their temperament emerges.
Your wait time will depend on what you are looking for and what nature delivers to us! If you are flexible on gender and traits you are likely to find a kitten sooner than if you are seeking a certain gender, specific coloring, etc. Our polydactyl, short bobcat tail kittens are in high demand and only a few are born each litter. For Chausies we get the most requests for higher generation fawn colored kittens

Why a Wait List?
Our kittens are born in our master bedroom closet with the queens having full access to our bed, her kittens and all the love and support we can give each mama and her litter. Our girls usually want us to be with them during delivery and we have personally helped deliver kittens - an experience we share with our children as well. At about 4 weeks old they move from the master bedroom closet to our cattery which is a room in our home we have converted just for the mamas and kittens. Each mama has her own space as well as a common area for the older kittens to play and explore. They will stay here until about 7-8 weeks at which point they will then begin exploring other areas of the home and sleeping in different rooms of our house. They will get used to the comings and goings of a normal household, the vacuum cleaner, the doorbell, dogs barking (we have 3) and all the other sounds of daily life. We have an outdoor enclosure that all our adult cats (not kittens) and dogs can access 24/7 and a special area for our studs. By the time your kitten arrives at your home he or she will have been showered with love and affection and will have the confidence to meet new people with curiosity and joy, not startle at sounds or noises and be a well-adjusted, happy, healthy kitten!
